David is an experienced executive and company director with a background in specialised manufacturing, medical devices, and consumer products: all focused on international markets.
He has been a director of a number of NZ based companies and a US based orthopaedic company. He has particular expertise in international branding and European markets. David is the founding shareholder of Foot Science International, the producers of Formthotics™, and is still actively involved as a Director and with overall responsibility for R&D. In 2011 David and his family interests purchased the other half of Foot Science from his original partner when he retired.
Based in Canterbury, David has been involved since its inception with the CDC High Growth Launch programme and numerous community organisations. David has had a long-standing relationship with NZ’s Winter Paralympic program and is currently assisting Adam Hall and Corey Peters in their preparation for the 2018 Winter Paralympics in Pyeongchang, Korea. David is an active member of the NZ Advisory Board for New Zealand Trade & Enterprise’s Beachheads programme and sits on the national Board of Export NZ.
